The Body Shop 2018 “Olivia the Owl” Advent Calendar

The Body Shop “Olivia the Owl” 2018 Advent Calendar was such a fun bath and beauty Advent calendar to explore! Open a door each day to reveal a great smelling and/or useful cruelty-free skin care or beauty product. The calendar sells for $70, with a total value of $150, and contains 24 products. The Olivia the Owl calendar is currently sold out at Ulta Beauty and The Body Shop websites. There are two additional versions of The Body Shop’s calendars with 25 products each, including Dani the Deer (selling for $110) and Freddie the Fox (selling for $225). Both are still available as of the writing of this post.

The inside of the box is illustrated with cute forest critters surrounded by a variety of foliage. The numbers on the doors are often difficult to find in the busy illustration but your hunt for is worth the time!

Every door flap opens up to reveal that day’s surprise mini essential beauty product!

There were a couple issues with this advent calendar that are worth noting. Most of the doors were difficult to open in this box. We often had to resort to using a butter knife to pry open the doors and get some of the products out. Also, there were a few instances when we opened the door only to find the slot empty where a product should be! The missing products eventually showed up in later day’s doors. This would be rather disappointing for that day’s Advent surprise!

Two delightful effervescent bath bombs for soaking away daily stresses.

Bath gloves, a shower puff, and a soft facial cleansing sponge accessorize the bath products.

You wouldn’t believe how delicious the Peppermint Candy Cane and Strawberry shower gels (and strawberry shampoo) smell! The other products are good smelling too, but some just stand out as fantastic!

More skin soothing products, facial masks, lip care and colors, black eyeliner (the staple of all beauty boxes!) a nail file, a brow & lash comb.

The Body Shop 2018 “Olivia the Owl” Advent Calendar is a sumptuous calendar for anyone who loves indulging in fragrant beauty products or for those needing great quality stocking stuffers! The Body Shop’s other Advent calendars had larger size products, but the quantity and variety of the smaller ones in this calendar will give us enough products to enjoy for months to come.
