Walmart has a beauty box subscription program that sends you a box of seasonal beauty essentials four times yearly – Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, for only the flat shipping cost of $5.00. These items are mainly (but not all) samples, are relevant to the season, and are chosen to fit your life stage.

This is a review of the Spring 2018 Walmart Beauty Box Classic Edition. There is also a Trendsetter Edition box for people under 35.

There is no product information card included probably because everyone gets something different in their box, depending on your age group and preferences in the form you fill out when you subscribe.

Aveeno – Daily Moisturizing Yogurt Body Wash 1 oz ($.42)

This is a good-smelling, creamy body wash that cleans and nourished your skin. It is soap and dye-free, gentle for skin. I am all about body wash! Love to try new ones!

Dove – Exfoliating Body Polish 1 oz ($.57)

This is an exfoliating body scrub that removes dull, dry skin and nourishes to restore the skin’s natural nutrients. It is formulated with moisturizing cream and has a whipped texture. The sample I received was Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk.

Pantene – Sheer Volume Foam Conditioner 1.4 oz ($1.40)

This is a foam conditioner that boosts hair with 0% weight. It has a lightweight foam texture that you apply in the shower and rinse off. I have used this numerous times and it works well!

Jergens – Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer 2 oz ($2.19)

Does your skin still have that winter pallor? You can get a bit of color without sun damage with this wet skin moisturizer that creates gradual, subtle color and doesn’t wipe off on your towel. Put it on in the shower, no need to rinse – so it’s quick and easy to use every day! The sample I received was Fair to Medium shade, but it also comes in Medium to Tan.

hello – Fluoride Free Whitening Toothpaste .85 oz ($1.00)

This toothpaste contains activated charcoal with fresh mint. It is free from artificial sweeteners, flavors or other bad chemicals. Not sure how long it will take to get used to brushing with black toothpaste!!

Soo AE – Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask ($3.30)

This is a skin gel mask infused with hydro gel technology to deliver active and hydrating ingredients. It diminishes signs of aging and is gentle enough for all skin types.

The retail value of the beauty products in the Spring 2018 Walmart Beauty Box came to $8.88, so we made out better than the $5.00 cost of the box. It is really nice to try out new skin care and hair care items, plus more toothpaste is always appreciated!
