Miami Art Deco

Nomad Cosmetics – La Habana Eyeshadow in Cohiba ($12.00)

This is intensely vibrant eyeshadow in a shimmer, rich brown tone. The shade is from Nomad’s Havana Collection, inspired by “the world renown cigars originally created for none other than Señor Fidel Castro.” This is eyeshadow with good-for-you papaya seed oil to nourish your skin and keep the color fresh.

Estate Cosmetics – Baked Highlighter Powder in Raindrop ($10.00)

This is a highlighter powder to give your face an all-day glow. You swipe it on the high points of the face for a dewy look.

Cosmoholic – Liquid Lipstick with LED Light in Mysterious Mocha ($24.99)

This is a full size liquid lipstick that has a light that comes on when you unscrew the lid and a mirror on the back of the tube. Unfortunately the mirror is all scratched up. There is no color label on the container but after looking at the 8 available shades, I believe this is the Mysterious Mocha color. It is a vibrant medium mocha color that you can use on its own, apply it over top of your lipstick, and/or use it as a blush.

Sorme Cosmetics – Smearproof Eyeliner in Navy Blue ($11.99)

This is an easy glide, water resistant eyeliner in a go-with-everything great color. The formula contains vitamins C & E to nourish your skin. And it is a square shape that is much easier to hold.

Laritzy Cosmetics – Lip Pencil in Retro Red ($18.00)

This is a creamy lip pencil that can be used for defining your lips or worn alone to fill in. Retro red is a classic red color.

This is our first review of Yes, Oh Yas! The retail value of the products in the May 2018 Yes, Oh Yas! beauty box came to $76.98. That is really a terrific value for the $18.98 cost, though a little less than what the company claims on their product information sheet. All of the beauty products seemed to fit in very well with the monthly theme. I really liked everything I received, though as much as I would still love to wear red lipstick I have probably aged out of that color. But everything else is a great fit for the makeup I generally wear.
