I decided to try the Retro Pack this month after receiving the Pop Pack in June and the Cute Pack in May! I received my sticker package in the mailbox mid-month and had to hide it from Little G so I could take photos before we dug in… and then I couldn’t remember where I hid it… I finally found my envelope today (stashed away in a box inside another box upstairs) and was able to photograph my loot with minimal interference from the toddler. Hooray!

July 2016 Stickii Club Retro Pack Theme:  Afternoon Tea!

The Retro Pack arrived in a brown envelope with the July theme labeled on the back of the plastic outer sleeve. “Afternoon Tea” is an interesting theme and, needless to say, I was quite curious to see how this Retro Pack was curated!

First peek! Holy moly, look at all of those stickers! Do I spy a dining room chair??

First thing I pulled out was this tiny plastic bag filled with small stickers. I love that Stickii Club takes time to seal the individual stickers in their own baggie so they won’t get lost when you open the envelope.

Here is everything out of the bag! This month, I received the BEST washi tape sample on planet Earth… COFFEE!!! YES!!! The individual vellum stickers have shiny gold accents and depict vintage candy and sweets! These are too pretty!

 This sheet is filled with an array of kitchen tools, cutlery, and treats that are perfect for a lovely afternoon tea. These stickers would be perfect for scrapbooking or to use on invites!

Look at all of these great realistic stickers!!! Mmm, macaroons…

Wow! Look at these unique open-faced sandwiches! Traditional tea sandwiches are made with thin bread and the crusts removed. Cucumber sandwiches are the most common which are made with cream cheese, fresh dill and thinly sliced cucumbers pressed between two pieces of bread.

This assortment must be a more modern take on the tea sandwich and it’s giving me plenty of inspiration for quick and easy snacks at home! These stickers have a slight cross-hatched texture and come in three different sizes.

 Latte art is SO fun! My day is always a bit brighter when I look down at my fancy coffee to see a little swan or leaf smiling back at me. The fancy designs almost make me feel better for paying twice as much for my caffeine fix…

I really love the variety! Each sticker is slightly smaller then a dime and will work perfectly in my planner to help me budget my latte-days into my schedule!

I LOVE this sticker sheet! There are beautiful gold foil accents on all of the stickers. (My apologies for the gold accents showing as black in places!) All of the foods here could very well be part of a formal afternoon tea, including the tiered tray filled with small tea sandwiches, petit fours, and macaroons.

Aren’t these the cutest?? I love the color palette and am totally craving macaroons right now.

I am not sure what this sticker sheet has to do with afternoon tea, however I am really enamored with the stickers and want more! These stickers look like craft paper with whimsical black ink drawings.

The illustrations are accented with bright neon colors which make the stickers pop! This is my favorite sticker sheet this month. I have no clue where I will use them yet, but am sure at least a few will make it into my planner!

My Thoughts

I love the “Afternoon Tea” theme and feel like all of the stickers matched the Retro description of being “vintage, earthy, and nostalgic.” This collection has me craving a proper tea party and has renewed my interest in making my own petit fours. Has anyone ever made them?? 

After checking out all three styles of Stickii Club plans, I’m pretty sure I’m more of a “Cute” sticker pack kinda gal. I just can’t help myself! 🙂
