The theme for the July 2016 Beauty Box 5 was “Road Trip Ready” and was all about beauty products you can toss into your purse or makeup bag when you are on the go. The information card was titled “Will Brake For Makeup” gave prices and details about each product, including letting me know that EACH item in the July 2016 Beauty Box 5 was full size! Nice!

Hikari – Eye Shadow in Brownie ($13)

This is a high pigment, long lasting, all day eye shadow in a dark chocolate brown with a light shimmer. It is buildable and blends easily. I like to use a neutral shade of shadow but this one is a bit too dark for me.

Beauty Box 5 – Round Blending Brush ($10)

I really like this soft blending brush! And you can use it for eye shadow, highlighting your cheekbones, blending on contour – it’s an all purpose brush you can toss in your make up bag and use again and again.

Skinny Tan – Mini Mitt ($4.95)

Not sure about this little tool. It is a “free gift” with purchase on a few websites, so the $ value is really not there. Would you spend $5 on a little plastic cover for your fingers so you can apply self-tanner without having to wash your hands? And then you have a dirty little plastic cover that you have to wash and put somewhere? Hmmm…

Sweep – Rose Gold Tweezers ($14)

Very pretty rose gold tweezers with a sharp, slanted edge. They come in their own little case so you don’t stick yourself when you are digging around in your purse or make up bag! Plus you can find them more easily and keep them cleaner.

Chella – Eyebrow Color Pencil in Tantalizing Taupe ($18)

This is a retractable eyebrow pencil in a light brown, perfect for light to medium-brown hair. It has a creamy formula infused with Vitamin E and glides on easily. This one’s for me!

Bonus: Sweep – Wink Mirror

This is a cute little mirror with a rose gold metal cover on one side and mirror on the other. Another little thing to toss in your make up bag!

The dollar cost of the products in the July 2016 Beauty Box 5 came to roughly $55 – and I did not include the Skinny Tan Mini Mitt. Another great value for a little box!
