Degusta Box is a food subscription box that sends you 9 to 14 full-size surprise products each month at a price less than you would pay at the store for the items. The monthly cost is $19.99 with free shipping, charged on the 19th of each month.

There is no commitment and you can cancel the next month if you notify Degusta Box before the 15th of the month.

The theme of the January 2019 Degusta Box is “Dinner Party” with a new year, new me section! The information sheet is a full page glossy with photos, descriptions of each product in the box, and includes an accurate price for each item.

The back of the product information sheet has two great recipes to use with the La Tortilla Factory tortillas included in this month’s box. Check out our Turkey Burgers with Pickled Onions and Guacamole post!

Sweet Baby Ray’s – Hot Sauce 5 oz ($1.37)

This is a new hot sauce from Sweet Baby Ray’s made with aged Cayenne peppers and garlic. Hot sauce is an everyday mealtime staple in my house and I was excited to be able to try out a new variety! PLUS we received a coupon good for a free full size bottle and a yummy recipe for SBR Louisiana Chicken Dip!

La Tortilla Factory – 8 Low Carb Flour Tortillas ($4.89)

These are low carb tortillas made with unbleached wheat flour. Each taco-size tortilla has only 6 gms net carbs and they are non-GMO. Tortillas are just so versatile for all kinds of recipes and we always have a package on hand. These tortillas are just so soft and tasty!

Idahoan Foods – (2) Instant Mashed Potatoes 4 oz each ($2.78)

Smokey Cheese & Bacon and Cheddar & Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes are the two newest instant mashed potato flavors from Idahoan Foods, made with 100% real Idaho potatoes. These kitchen pantry staples are so easy to fix – and now they are even simpler because you don’t have to add milk or butter when preparing them!

Vitabella – Strawberry Pillows Snack 10.6 oz (5.99)

This organic and gluten-free Italian cereal is also GMO-free, soy-free, and vegan. The crispy whole grain cereal pillows can be enjoyed with or without milk, eaten as a healthy snack or as a cereal. Some Degusta Box subscribers received Vitabella Choco Crispies this month instead of the Strawberry Pillow Snacks.

MaraNatha – (3) Creamy Almond Butter Packets 1.15 oz each ($3.30)

We received 3 different creamy almond butter packets that you can toss into your bag for a healthy snack with crackers or bread while you are out and about. You just knead and squeeze the packet and it is ready to go. The almond butter is double ground and then roasted in small batches.

Lundberg Family Farms – Vanilla Chai Baked Grain Bites 4 oz ($3.49)

These light & crunchy Grounded organic rice snacks are made with whole grains and are vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO. You can pack some up for your family’s lunch snacks without any guilt!

Partners Crackers – Olive Oil & Sea Salt Snack Crackers 4 oz ($3.99)

These thin and crispy crackers are made with real ingredients and then slowly baked for the tastiest result! They are great with hummus or any other type of dip or topping!

Chocolat Frey – Blond Crunchy Almond Bar 3 oz ($3.29)

This is a Swiss caramelized white chocolate bar with more than 25% almonds. The company has been making premium chocolate products for over 130 years. Degusta Box subscribers will receive one of three varieties of Frey chocolate bars this month.

Michel et Augustin – Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Squares (gift)

This is a 2 cookie sample of these French cookie squares. They are shortbread cookies with a chocolate hazelnut ganache, perfect for a little nibble with your coffee.

Smashmallow – (2) Marshmallow Crispy Treats 1.15 oz each ($2.98)

We received two flavors of marshmallow crispy treats – Strawberries & Cream and Cinnamon Churro. They are made with organic cane sugar, non-GMO ingredients and are gluten-free. Smashmallow makes delicious flavored marshmallows in all kinds of yummy flavors!!

The retail value of the products curated for the January 2019 Degusta Box came to approx. $36.18, an excellent value for of the cost of the subscription box! I love reviewing Degusta Box each month – it is so fun to try out new brands and new varieties of old favorites.
