Hatchimals CollEGGtibles 2018 Advent Calendar

There are SO many toy advent calendars available this year that it was extremely difficult to pick one out for Gabe to actually use for his Christmas countdown! We just recently discovered these little Hatchimals CollEGGtibles toys about a month ago. Gabe has acknowledged that they are “pretty cute and girly” toys, however he has the best time opening those little plastic eggs! My kid also can’t resist collecting tiny things (like his mother).

I wanted to share this calendar with you all since it is so stinking cute and is filled with lots of buildable paper crafts and cute, exclusive Hatchimals with accessories.

The front of the box folds down to reveal a cute winter scene!

Even cooler still — parts of the scene actually pop up to create a 3D play area to display all the Hatchimals and paper crafts!

Since this is Gabe’s actual advent calendar for 2018, I needed to get a little creative in how I shared it with you all without ruining the little doors for him!

Parent Pro-Tip:  I was able to lift the flap of the box and carefully extract the plastic tray holding all the goodies inside. Fortunately, all items were where they should be, but it’s good to know that you can easily check this before handing it over to your child(ren) to open!

In order to keep all the tiny accessories contained, they thoughtfully added little lid covers to help protect them from falling out! I love that!

Look at these little cuties!! They’re SO glittery and adorable! Each of these exclusive hatchimals are holding their arms out so they can carry the little present accessories. Also included are tiny hats, bows, and holly that can stick on some of their heads! Oh my goodness.

The paper craft activities look like a ton of fun! Gabe caught me taking pictures of these things and immediately grabbed for them! You pop out decorations like the Christmas tree, snowmen, fireplace, and even a table and chair then decorate them however you’d like with the stickers provided! I think this would be more fun to open than getting the little Hatchimals!

Also included are five different colored, glittery nests that are adorned with little white bows! They are SUPER precious and can fit 1-2 hatchimals inside.

This advent calendar really saves the best for last with Day 24 revealing an extra special Hatchimals CollEGGtibles winter egg to crack open! After looking at a few unboxings, I’m positive that all of this year’s advent calendars have the exact same hatchimal inside the egg. (It’s RIDICULOUSLY CUTE — and fuzzy!)

All in all, this is probably my favorite kid’s advent calendar of 2018. Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are fun to open anyway, so with the added bonus of the paper crafts and accessories this advent calendar is top notch!

For the last two weeks, Gabe has pulled the calendar out each morning and asks me if it’s time to start opening the doors yet! Fortunately for him, he’s only got a couple more days before the fun can begin! (And then Christmas is truly right around the corner!!)
