Brooklyn Bean Roastery – Big Kahuna Coffee

We are deep into the summer months and coffee has become a necessity. Kids are out of school and in my house. I don’t have many opportunities to treat myself, which is why I love this coffee from Brooklyn Beans!

Big Kahuna is a macadamia nut and white chocolate flavored coffee. This limited edition seasonal flavor from Brooklyn Bean Roastery is made in small batches with 100% Arabica coffee beans.

There are 40 single-serve coffee pods included in the box. The coffee pods are compatible with most single serve brewing systems, including the Keurig 2.0.

As I do for all coffee pods, I recommend using the smallest cup setting on the Keurig in order to get the strongest flavor. The Big Kahuna is a medium roast coffee and has a nice flavor balance. I added some cream and sugar to my coffee cup and loved the result. I could really taste the warm, nutty flavor with the white chocolate. It’s delicious!

I especially like that Brooklyn Beans’ flavored coffees aren’t inherently sweet so I’m always able to fix my cup of coffee just the way I like it. Though I don’t gravitate towards flavored coffees, the Big Kahuna was delightful for a morning treat (and afternoon pick-me-up) and I highly recommend it!
