I love watching the spring flowers bloom and the mountains turn a lovely shade of light green. March 2016 Peaches and Petals Theme:  Live Life in Color

First peek into the box and I spy some cute, colorful tissue paper peeking out! I am so glad that this month’s box contents were padded from scooting around too much during shipping. This made me think there’s something breakable in there too…

The information card is a high-gloss postcard which briefly details the items inside. The last item listed is a “Colorful Surprise!” I am loving that every subscriber’s box may get something a little different inside!

This is a great, portable colored pencil set with built-in sharpener! These are perfect for taking in my purse on trips to the store with Little G. He always wants to draw and color!

Everyone Loves Coloring Birds Coloring Book – Value:  $5.00

I just love the gorgeous designs in this coloring book! The artwork is so fun and will be an amazing stress reliever to color at the end of a long workday.

All of the pages have perforated edges! It is so much easier to color pages when they’re not in a book, plus you can easily frame your finished project, if you want!

Sassy Fras Splatter Paint Bath Bomb – Value:  $6.00

Holy bath bomb!! Look at this beauty! It is SO colorful and takes me back to last year’s Color Run when I got paint powder thrown all over me. And my glasses. And new running shoes. Note to self: just go blind and wear gross shoes next time. I am totally taking Little G to this year’s Color Run, by the way. He’s going to LOVE it! Where was I? Oh yeah, I cannot wait to try out this bath bomb. It smells sweet like jelly beans or a lollipop. Mmmm… jelly bean bath… Yum.

“Color Me Inspired” Ceramic Mug & Spoon – Value:  $5.00?

“Be a Fruit Loop in a world full of Cheerios!”What a cutie patootie mug! So bright and cheerful! Jonathan may disagree with me, but one can never have too many mugs. That is like saying there is too much coffee in the world… which of course, can never be true. This mug has a pretty purple interior and comes with a little spoon that tucks in the handle. If Jonathan won’t let me keep it, I can totally gift this to a friend or family member and fill it with tea bags & honey sticks, chocolate covered coffee beans, or other candies and treats!

Eye Majic Instant Eye Shadow (2 Pair)– Value:  $9.99

This is a very interesting concept… I have never heard of “instant eye shadow” before now. These seem like a neat concept however I have very Asian eyes with eyelids that sort of tuck under, if that makes any sense. I’m thinking we will include this in a future giveaway for one of you to try!

“Enjoy Everything” Mini Pouch – Value:  $7.50?

First thing I thought was, “A PENCIL CASE!” Then I realized this is probably more for makeup or something way more girly than what I was thinking. Either way, this is going to make an amazing pencil / pen case to store all of my Cloth & Paper Co. pens that I’ve been coveting. I love this cute design and the color scheme is vibrant and fun!

The back is solid pink, FYI, which I’m totally cool with. 🙂

 

“Pretty in Pink” Ultra-Slim Portable Power Bank – Value:  $10.00?

We can ALWAYS use a spare portable power bank in this house. Little G has discovered the wide world of kid-friendly apps on his little tablet that his nana got him for Christmas and thusly, runs the battery down pretty quickly over the course of a week.

The included power cord has a mini-USB plug that fits into the power bank and is used to charge it via USB on the other side. There is a port on the power bank that is compatible with any USB charger (mini-USB or lightning). Phone charger cords are not included. This will work perfectly if we forget to charge Little G’s tablet and need to charge it really quickly while he’s playing on it!

March 2016 Peaches and Petals Total Value:  $49.48

What a fun box!!! I really love COLOR and felt that all of the items stuck to this theme really well. The coloring book is really fun and I cannot WAIT to use that gigantic bath bomb. My favorite item is probably the pencil pouch (i.e. makeup pouch) which will be put to good use on the daily! I am extremely pleased with the quality of items and overall value in this month’s box.
