Glossybox does not always have a monthly theme but this month they absolutely did so. The “Perfectly Imperfect” box was themed to encourage self-care and confidence in your own skin. The box lid has a mirrored interior and they also included a sheet of “Self Love” stickers.

Glossybox has a large glossy product information sheet that includes pictures, suggestions for use, and pricing. 

Aceology – Rose Petal Mask .5 fl oz

This is a “deluxe mini” size hydrating multi-use face mask. It is a lightweight gel that you can use for a quick pick-me-up or leave on overnight for soft skin in the morning.

Elemis – Pro-Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser 1 oz

I am familiar with Elemis products and have never used one that I disliked. This is a gel cleanser that gently exfoliates and moisturizes while cleaning off daily grime and makeup. I think you will love it!

Daily Concepts – Daily Body Scrubber

This biodegradable body scrubber is a full size product, made from organic cotton with a soy-based center. It is designed to be used with your body wash to give a full lather with gentle exfoliation. Plus it comes with its own suction cup to attach to your shower wall – a very cool idea!! It has a gentle texture for sensitive skin & is clinically, allergy and dermatologist tested.

Maria Nila – Invisidry Shampoo 3.4 oz

I never use dry shampoo so whenever I see one in a sub box I am just a bit disappointed. The information sheet claims this 3.4 oz container is full size and sells for $22, but the full size container is actually 8.5 oz for $32, a much better deal if you love their dry shampoo. It does have Color Guard Complex to protect your hair from UV radiation and that is a very good benefit.

The Beauty Crop – BFF Brow Mascara – Grow & Groom Brow Gel .13 fl oz

This is a full size clear brow gel that can be used alone or over your brow powder. It will help volumise, define, and tame your brows into staying put without making them look stiff.

The May 2022 Glossybox was a kind of back-to-basics box that I always love to receive. I know that I can use almost everything in the box – and the entire box was worth it for me just for the Elemis cleanser! The dry shampoo will go to our local homeless shelter when I have enough items to take a box over to them. I’m pretty excited to use the brow gel this summer when we go on our cruise! Some Glossybox subscribers frequently receive variations in the contents of their box so the items I reviewed might not be the exact same items you received in your May box.
