It is the height of summer and I have just come inside from working in my meagre flower garden. We moved here from the family home where we raised our children a few years ago. I had a well established country flower garden at our old home that I had worked on and watched as it evolved over the past 25 years. I like dandelions. A field full of them is a gorgeous burst of color and they grow as volunteers where nothing else does. Plus, they’re edible!
