One of my favorite things in life is curling up with an excellent book while enjoying a deliciously hot mug of tea. With Little G turning three (hey, that rhymed!) on Thursday, I find myself reflecting on the lack of successful tea-drinking, book-reading peace and relaxation that I once had. I received a Variety Pack of Pique Tea Crystals so I could taste the different flavors available. The packaging is quite beautiful!

The carton contained 14 tea sachets of four different varieties. (I believe the Variety Pack listed on the Pique Tea website currently has all five varieties included.) Each individual packet has a lightly perforated tear line for ease of opening and is a great size to take on-the-go.

The tea crystals are in the form of an extremely light, fluffy powder. The scent is out-of-this-world good, instantly compelling me to grab a mason jar and wait patiently for my water to boil! One sachet will make a perfect 8 oz. cup of tea.

Wow. This tea smells incredible! I was immediately taken back to my childhood, walking in our meadow and picking wild honeysuckle from where they grew. The Jasmine tea tasted as beautifully as it smelled, with a slight tanginess that wasn’t unappealing.
