The contents were wrapped in black tissue paper and tied with a lovely black bow.

Covet Crate is under new ownership and their magazine has a new layout but still gives full-page descriptions of the companies and products featured for the month. These are divided into Girl Boss and Lady Boss contents. Mother Teresa is on the November cover with an accompanying bio on page 2.

Me and My BIG Ideas – Classic Happy Planner Hello Life ($29.99)

This is an 18 month planner dated from July 2016 through December 2017 that includes “creative and inspirational” artwork for you to enjoy as you plan. It has monthly and weekly calendar pages, dividers and lots of space for your planning and scheduling. Are you a planner user? I wasn’t until this past year and found that it really helps to keep me on track!

Me And My BIG Ideas – The Happy Planner Highlighters ($4.99)

Five vibrant colors for highlighting in your planner. Does this take you back to school? Each highlighter has a fun message printed along the side.

Covet Crate – Grateful, Thankful Notepad ($4)

This is a 50 sheet notepad that Covet Crate designed and had made for the November box. The pages are lined, 4″X6″ and tear off at the top. Who can’t use another notepad? I know this is a digital age but I have notes on paper all over my desk.

Kira Design – Foil Print “Gratitude Unlocks the Fullness of Life” ($15)

This is an 8″ X 10″ foil print on glossy cardstock with an inspirational quote. It is quite nice, but really doesn’t fit in here. Art is so individual and subjective – I think it is quite brave to consider sending art in a subscription box.

Queen Bee Skincare – Hand Butter in Lady Fingers 2 oz (7.95)

This is a balm made from shea butter, coconut oil, non-GMO vitamin E oil, sweet orange essential oil, and lavender essential oil. There is nothing artificial in it and its citrusy/lavender aroma smells really nice. I’m not a big fan of balms as they are so sticky and don’t absorb well, but they really do the job on dried out skin and it’s good to have a tin of it around as we start into winter.

Carolyn Parra Designs – Thank You Notes set of 4 ($6.40)

This is a set of very pretty Gold Confetti Foil thank you notes with envelopes so you can be a polite friend/relative and hand write those notes! Good girl!!

Lupita’s Gourmet Nuts – Cinnamon Roasted Almonds 4 oz ($5)

This is a little bag of tasty almonds roasted with pure cane sugar, organic Madagascar vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Very. Tasty. Yum!

Bonus: Ferro Rocher Hazelnut Chocolate 1 piece

We all know what this tastes like! Creamy chocolate, a crunchy wafer and a delicious hazelnut centre. And it arrived in one piece and unmelted!

The retail value of the items curated for the November 2016 Covet Crate “Girl Boss” box came in at $73.33, so a good value for this box that is a little more expensive than some but also much more useful than others if you are a business person. The planner is great and I really liked everything else as well, though I have no use for the print.
