The May 2016 Glossybox contained one cosmetic item, three skin care items and two hair care items in my monthly pink box with the black ribbon. I appreciate their foldout product description/price card that lets me know just what they curated for the current month’s box. The card also gives you tips on using your new products. I appreciate the information they provide as I don’t usually know specifics about my new beauty products.

Rituals Cosmetics – Shower Foam in Zensation 1.6 oz sample size ($3)

This is a “foaming shower gel sensation” that combines Rice Milk to nourish and soften skin with Cherry Blossom, the Japanese symbol of purity. This cleaning foam uses gel-to foam technology, where the gel transform into a foam when it comes in contact with water. I love the subtle scent and it seems to clean and soften just as claimed.

Versaspa – Face Moisturizing Gradual Tanner (2) .25 oz sample size ($6.75)

This is a moisturizing self tanner to let you get that summer tan without exposing your skin to the sun. It is odorless and infused with marine algae. The lotion is a white cream that is non-greasy and a little goes a long way.

Nioxin – Nioxin System 3 Cleanser & Scalp Therapy Conditioner (2) 1.7 oz sample sizes ($14)

This is a therapeutic cleanser and conditioning set that balances moisture levels and helps hair appear thicker. It helps you to maintain a healthy scalp environment.

Talika – Phot-hydra Day 1 oz Full Size ($29)

This is a face-specific day cream that hydrates, smoothes and replumps the skin with an amino acid and mango butter.

Benefit Cosmetics – Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara .1 oz sample size ($8)

This is a black mascara with a “Hook ‘n’ Roll brush grabs, separates, lifts and curls…while the instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours.”

The May 2016 Glossybox had only one full size item this month but the value of the premium items in the box still came to a little over $60. I really liked the self tanner as I do stay out of the sun as much as possible and am usually pretty pale. The Rituals shower gel smells really nice and also I am really impressed with a full size luxury moisturizer! So this month’s Glossybox was a win once again!
