The theme for the June 2016 Beauty Box 5 was “Made in the Shade” and was all about skin care and cosmetics. The information card was included and I am always amazed at the amount of information about the products they can fit on this little card!

 

Manna Kadar – Radiance Bronzer & Highlighter Full Size ($24)

This is a bronzer/highlighter duo to define and contour your face. I don’t think I wear enough serious makeup to wear bronzer but I have seen photos of great effects using this kind of duo. And I love that they included a brush to apply it with.

Sweep – Oval Contour & Highlight Brush Full Size ($15)

This is a lovely soft bristle brush that will be great for applying your bronzer and highlighter, plus it should work as well for blush. You can use it to blend, shade and perfect your color.

Prestige Cosmetics Brow & Lash Brush Full Size ($3.25)

This is a double ended brush to fix up both your brows and your lashes. You can use the bristle end to blend in your brow color and the tiny comb end to even out your mascara and get rid of clumps.

Versaspa – Face Moisturizing Gradual Tanner .25 oz sample size ($3.75)

This is a moisturizing self tanner to let you get that summer tan without exposing your skin to the sun. It is odorless and infused with marine algae. The lotion is a white cream that is non-greasy and a little goes a long way. Plus it blurs those little fine lines!

Pur-Lisse – Blue Lotus + White Tea Treatment Sheet Mask Full Size ($8)

This is a natural fiber mask infused with blue lotus, white tea and restorative Asian botanicals. The directions suggest that you use it 1-2 times weekly to have healthy, glowing skin. Considering the price, I think a cream mask treatment might be a bit less expensive, but I still love using sheet masks as a special little treat.

The value of the June 2016 Beauty Box 5 comes to $54, so this is a very good value for the minimal cost of the box! There was only one sample size item, too.
