July 2016 Target Beauty Box – Fresh & Fabulous Review

Target offers a really popular, inexpensive beauty box each month and it always sells out quickly. The box is a one time purchase, not a monthly subscription box. For the month of July, Target offered two beauty boxes for $7.00 each. This review is for the July 2016 Target Beauty Box “Fresh & FABULOUS.”

Each July 2016 Target Beauty Box had a helpful product description card with a description of each item selected for the box. Attached to the product description card was a very useful coupon for $3 off a $15 beauty purchase!

Tom’s of Maine – Peppermint Antiplaque & Whitening Toothpaste sample size 1 oz ($.70)

This is a fluoride-free toothpaste made with naturally sourced ingredients. It fights tartar and plaque.

Dove – Regenerative Nourishment Shampoo & Conditioner sample size 1 oz each ($1.20)

This shampoo and matching conditioner are infused with Red Algae + Keratin NutriComplex to repair the internal structure of damaged hair, making it feel and look smooth and healthy. It is designed for all hair types.

Garnier – Clearly Brighter Daily Moisturizer sample size 1 oz ($4.66)

This is a brightening and smoothing moisturizer full of Antioxidant Complex Vitamin C + LHA. It is oil-free and has a Broad Spectrum SPF 15 sunscreen mixed in. It claims to give you brighter skin in 1 week. I always love a moisturizer with sunscreen so you have that little bit of extra protection needed for the “I’m just running outside for a few minutes and I’ll stay in the shade” sun exposure event.

Sweet Spot – 3 On-the-Go Wipettes ($4.30)

These are individually wrapped feminine hygiene wipes that come in both unscented and in a variety of different scents. I received Neroli Mandarin, Vanilla Blossom, and Grapefruit Verbena. They are made with botanicals and essential oils and smell really good. Plus they are alcohol-free and made with the correct pH for use in the places where you use feminine hygiene products.

Umberto Beverly Hills – Lifting Powder Full Size .16 oz ($11.99)

Yikes! I thought this little spray bottle of lifting powder was a sample size but when I researched the price, this was the full size thing! It adds height, volume, lift, and texture to all hair types. Plus it absorbs moisture, tames frizz, and controls cowlicks. No wonder it’s so expensive!! But a little goes a long way with this powder. You spray it on dry hair at the roots or wherever extra help is needed and work it in with your fingers.

NYX – Butter Lipstick in Moonlit Night, Full Size ($6)

This is a dark burgundy shade of lipstick with a buttery soft, silky smooth and creamy satin finish and highly saturated color. Get ready for fall, Ladies!

The Fresh & Fabulous July 2016 Target box was a super value for the cost of the box! It contained 7 items and their total price came to roughly $28.85. Of those 7 items, there were 2 full size and 5 sample size (I am counting the 3 wipes as one sample size item) products. That comes out to $1 for each item, a steal for even most of the samples!
