  1. My favorite children’s book is/was “The Napping House” by Audry and Don Wood.

  2. It’s hard to pick a favorite. Probably The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein or There’s a Wocket in my Pocket by Dr Seuss.

  3. My favorite is Gone Away Lake! My oldest son loves Charlotte’s Web and my youngest son really loves If You Give A Mouse A Cookie!

    I collect children’s literature so I have quite a few other favorites including Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?, Ferdinand, The Snowman, The Snowy Day, and Katy’s Big Snow.

  5. My personal favorite is Where the wild things are and a very close second is No David. I use to read it to my kids at least 5 times a day I have such sweet memories with that book and my kids being so excited about it

  11. Right now, my grandson and I are enjoying Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems. We love to read together so we have lots of favorites.

  12. We love Walter the Farting Dog! No matter how many times we read it the kids laugh and laugh.

  13. My daughter and I love The Gruffalo’s Child (and The Gruffalo). The movies are great too!

  15. I remember a book that one of my teachers read to our class in grade school and I loved it…..Did You Carry The Flag Today Charlie? I don’t remember the author but I loved that book 🙂

  16. My grandsons favorite book right now is one about a lamb, cannot remember the name of the book for sure.

  17. My favorite children’s book would be Anne of Green Gables, I adored it when I was little.

  18. For as long as I can remember my favorite children’s book has been The Velveteen Rabbit. My favorite, more contemporary, children is Not A Box. I think it is really adorable and love the way it shows imagination at work/play.

  20. My boys love the diary of a Wimpy Kid books. When I was young I loved Amelia Bedelia.

  21. The Harry Potter Series are my favorite children’s books. They are so creative and really teach kids to love reading!

  22. We like “I Was So Mad”a Little Critter book. All the Little Critter books are great.
