I was really excited about reviewing the February 2016 CatLadyBox! I’m sure my kitties think that our dogs have all the fun because we are always asking them to do tricks for doggie treats. Cats don’t do tricks for treats (at least MY cats don’t!) but we still love them so this was a special box specially for and all about my cats!

Cat Art Print postcard by Featured Cat Lady artist: Tina Welter ($5)

February’s artist is Tina Welter whose website is www.tinawelter.blogspot.com. Tina sends out a “Confessions of a ‘Fraidy Cat” newsletter each month! Her postcard print is a sweet green-eyed kitty peering out through the clover.

On the flip side of the postcard is a handy product information list that tells you all about the items in the February 2016 CatLadyBox! I love this thoughtful addition to a subscription box and I think it shows a lot of care and attention to detail!

I have seen the Maneki-Neko cat figurine in all kinds of places but never realized that it is a Japanese good luck charm. The cat brings fortune and money with a right raised paw and visitors and friends with a left raised paw. Color apparently has different meanings as well, and the luckiest is a calico cat. That is wonderful as I have 2 calico cats – I must be drawing luck from them as well as cat hair! I LOVE this shirt! It is soft and gray with the pretty cat Maneki-Neko on the front, it fits perfectly and I know it will be one of my regulars!

This is a lovely, delicate silver adjustable bracelet with three charms that is always in good taste to wear with any outfit to keep a reminder of your kitty with you.
