  1. I have zero fancy occasions to dress up for this holiday season. Perhaps things will change.

  2. I already have plans for New Year’s Eve this year, which is kind of unusual (to have them this early.) But, it’s not really a big dress up party, but I would love to have some new make-up for the holidays.

  3. Mostly casual but I am hoping to hang out with some old friends and want to look good.

  6. I doubt I’ll have a fancy holiday occasion. If I won, this would be for my niece. I know she’ll have a lot of parties to attend.

  15. I actually have a Christmas Eve wedding to go to this year. I have never been to one on a holiday before, but its my niece, and we are very close, so of course I wouldn’t miss it for the world and I am very excited to dress up and be there for her!

  16. I’m not a dressy up kind of person, so if there was i’d feel really out of place in my jeans and converse hightops and tshirt. But my little sister makes everyday a dress up day, she does her makeup all the time and is great with fashion.

  23. Oh yes! There’s Thanksgiving, holiday parties, work parties, Christmas parties, New Years Eve parties. Such a busy time of year.

  27. Unfortunately, no I don’t. Things changed dramatically when I had to move from a huge city that I love. I used to wear dresses almost every day and now, here, there just isn’t any reason to. Not even for “special occasions,” if there even are any. :-/

  30. Yes, the incredibly handsome man in my life and I host a holiday gala annually. He is such a charming host, greeting each guest with eloquence. I strive to be an equally effective hostess, but feel I rarely reach that goal. This year we are creating Julious Caesar, the play, for our guests enjoyment. Our guests are generally cultured and appropriate….however the pittbulls may be a challenge this year they have been in a feud with the dobermans. Oh well, my handsome alien pug handles such situations well…ettu Whitefang! 🙂

  31. As a graduate student, I don’t expect any fancy occasions to dress up. I’m okay with that though since that means I don’t have to spend money on going out! 😀

  33. Yes My boyfriend-fiance and I are doing some things more related to his culture for our engagement, so even though we consider ourselves engaged this holiday season will be when his family considers it official

  54. Twice! Once after Thanksgiving – My husband is deployed right now and doesn’t get home until Dec. 2. I plan on dressing up to go pick him up from the airport that night =) And another time on Christmas day which is the day before our new baby girl is due! So two very special occasions =)

  81. I doubt that I will have any occasions that call for “fancy” dress this holiday season. We live in a small town with very few social opportunities. The church Christmas dinner will be the big event for us.

  86. We used to get dressed up for our family holidays. There was a consensus among the adults to NOT do that and just be comfortable. Other than that, we don’t really do fancy dress up occasions anymore.

  91. As a matter of fact yes I do. I have to get all dressed up for this big to do with some interesting people at my husbands job. In fact I will have to transform into a socialite for the night.
