First peek!  A box FULL of beauty products!

The product information card has a list of each item – no pricing, descriptions, or photos – but it’s a great way to check that nothing is missing. The illustration on the front (obviously from a world I don’t inhabit) is of the two curators of the box, MakeupShayla and Angel Merino.

The Browgal – Double Ended Highlighter Pencil Gold/Nude .02 oz Full Size ($20)

This is a highlighter pencil with a shimmer end and a matte end.  The shimmer end is for accents/highlighting anywhere on your face and the matte end is for concealing imperfections/regrowth and accenting brow shape. Formulated with green tea & alfalfa extract, this pencil helps to decrease the appearance of puffiness and increase circulation around the eyes. It comes in two shades – one for lighter and one for darker skin tones.

DUO – Lash Adhesive in white/clear .09 oz sample size ($1)

This is a strip lash adhesive, invisible when dry and waterproof. It comes in a darker color as well. Advertised as the “world’s best selling adhesive.”

Flutter Lashes – iSlay Lashes ($10.95)

And to go with the lash adhesive is a pair of beautiful Limited Edition Ersatz Eyelashes! These are designed by @MakeupShayla (one of the box curators) and add volume and length for a natural look. You can reuse them 5 or more times if you care for them properly. I did not try these on but I have used false eyelashes back when we were involved in community theater and they really made an amazing difference!

 

Jouer – Essential Lip Enhancer .15 oz sample size ($8)

This is a lip treatment to nourish and condition, proven to increase lip fullness while decreasing fine lines. It contains botanical ingredients, vitamin E, shea butter, and jojoba oil, is paraben-free and dermatologist tested. Lip plumping aside, most of us can really use the nourishment and conditioning effects on our dry lips this time of year!

Laser Kitten – Sweetheart Lipstick Pin ($12)

This is a very cute little pin of a tube of pink lipstick with a heart on the side of the tube and is one of the accessories BeautyCon includes along with the beauty products. These little enamel pins seem to be quite popular right now. It is 1″ tall and has a butterfly clasp back.

Luxie Beauty – Luxie Large Angled 504 Brush ($16)

A pretty pink-handled, soft brush that works well for bronzer, highlighter, illuminator, and blush. The bristles are cruelty-free and vegan.

Milani Cosmetics – Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Bella Cappuccino .05 oz Full Size ($4.99)

This is a satin matte shadow that starts as a gel and transforms into a powder. The color is a vibrant tan, only one of the 31 shades that Milani has available for this very popular eyeshadow. This shade is a bit dark for me but I have used Milani’s Bella Eyes eyeshadow in the past and really liked it!

Mystic Tan – Mocha-Kyssed Bronzer Lotion 1 oz sample size ($5)

This is a lotion with warm, brown undertones that starts as a bronzer and moisturizes while gradually building a natural tan. It is best for fair, ruddy, olive, and medium skin tones. It is paraben-free and cruelty-free.

OFRA Cosmetics – Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Mocha .27 oz Full Size ($19.90)

This liquid lipstick is a matte pinkish brown color but Ofra has over 40 color shades to choose from. Every shade contains antioxidants and vitamin E. They suggest that you do not eat or drink for 15 minutes after applying to help the color stay on for up to five hours.

Simple – Cleansing Facial Wipes 7 wipes ($1.26)

I have received these wipes in several boxes and love to use them. They are perfume-free and gentle, remove make-up well, and don’t irritate my face.

Sugarfina – Sugar Lips taster pack ($2.50)

These are soft gummy lips in flavors of Watermelon, Strawberry and Bubble Gum, dusted in sweet & sour sugar crystals. Mmmm!

The box included a package of style stickers! Sarah will love these!

The retail value of the beauty items in the Fall 2016 BeautyCon box came to an amazing $101.60! Excellent value for the cost of the box and of the 11 items, 6 were full size. My favorites were the double ended highlighter pencil, the eyelashes (I have no place to wear them but they are still gorgeous!!), the lip enhancer, the cleansing wipes, and (of course) the candy.
