December 2015 Dottiebox Mini

I was so excited to see my Dottiebox Mini this month! The box came just before Christmas, which was absolutely perfect for making use of the contents over the holidays! I love receiving a cute package of handmade items every month. (And my husband loves that I only spend $13.00.)

The December box is still available for one-time purchase at $11.00 (+ s/h), however the monthly and 3-month subscriptions are unavailable once again! Dottiebox offers a waiting list and will notify you via email as soon as more subscriptions become available. These are highly coveted spots that go quickly, so be sure to purchase as soon as possible once you receive the email!

UnCommon Scents 4 oz. Travel Tin Candle (Under The Mistletoe) – Value:  $9.00

This scent is described as “fresh holly berry and pine” and smells like Christmas to me! This is a sweet little tin and the candle is the perfect size to scent a small room (mine is in our guest bathroom). Pardon the finger smudges on the candle in the picture… Little G thought I was taking pictures of play dough!

Wild Cherry Spoon Co. Soft Cheese Spreader – Value:  $8.00

I couldn’t have been happier to see this little cheese spreader in the box (random, I know). My mom makes the best cheese balls at Christmas and receiving this just before the holiday was quite serendipitious! Cherry wood is so beautiful and I just love the carved texture on this handmade spreader.

My mom posted the recipes on the blog for these dangerously delicious cheese balls, which you need to make right now — and then make more for New Year’s! Your friends will love you forever. My favorite is the Goat Cheese & Green Onion (yummy!) but you should really go all out here… I mean, it’s New Year’s, right? Try your hand at the Mediterranean Cheese Ball too!

I really loved this box and felt it worked perfectly for December. I am all about collecting fun tchotchkes and jewelry, but I especially love when I receive items that are super functional. Jonathan really likes the cheese spreader and I think the candle smells divine! I am already looking forward to next month’s box!
