Finally! The dog-version of CatLadyBox is here! This subscription allows us to flaunt our love of our beloved canines in style with no holds barred. Though a professed cat lady for sure, I LOVE my sweet basset-sharpei mix, Beijing, and love the idea of having a box dedicated to all things dog!

EXCLUSIVE DogPeopleBox T-Shirt | $21.99
This t-shirt is really soft and is a lovely light blue color! The graphic was designed by the founders of DogPeopleBox and reads, “My schedule is full… I’m spending the day with my DOG” Hilarious and yet truthful. While I have more t-shirts than I can swing a stick at, mom will certainly LOVE this shirt and will wear it proudly. 🙂
EXCLUSIVE DogPeopleBox Tumbler | $14.99
This tumbler is a free gift from DogPeopleBox to thank subscribers for their support. How sweet!! The cup features prints of original and handmade graphite drawings by one of the DogPeopleBox founders. I am really impressed and love how the dogs’ expressions really shine.
The cup itself is very lightweight but has a solid seal on the lid. It appears to be a 12 oz tumbler, which is a perfect size for my hot tea… not so much for coffee. I drink 20 oz at a time, at least three times a day. (No judging!)
EXCLUSIVE DogPeopleBox Tablet Sleeve | $45.00
This tablet sleeve is completely handmade and is lined with foam padding. The white front area is actually a large front pocket and is emblazoned with the DogPeopleBox logo. Though I feel the value of this item is a bit inflated, I do really like the handmade aspect and think it’s cute!
The inside of the sleeve is completely white and appears large enough to fit a regular-size iPad. The foam padding is only lined one side of the tablet sleeve, so I would still use a bit of caution if you’re toting this around town. This tablet sleeve will also be going to my mom to use when traveling in the RV. (Score for her!)
LOOK AT THESE SOCKS. Seriously, just look at them! The little ears jut up from the sides and the white polkadots are darling! The socks are a cotton blend, one-size, and made in Korea. I’m totally rocking these socks around the house right now.
Zen Threads Longboard Dachshund Drawstring Bag | $3.00
This is a 100% natural cotton drawstring bag that is hand printed with an adorable wiener dog riding a longboard! I think I’m going to use this for future gifting. I try to give “random acts of kindness” gifts when I can and this bag is too sweet not to share!
I love seeing Etsy sellers featured in subscription boxes. Zen Threads is based out of Northern California and uses a “green” printing process, free from any harmful chemicals or solvents. They have a zillion different items available for sale on their Etsy shop and you need to check them out. Today. 🙂
2 Little Bostons Cheddar and Banana Pretzels For Dogs | $3.95
Made in New Hampshire, these delicious pretzels are made with organic ingredients, including whole wheat flour, bananas, cheddar cheese, and yogurt. Beijing LOVED these crunchy snacks almost as much as Little G loved throwing them (hard) onto the floor, shattering them into a million pieces. Really, I should have known better….
2 Little Bostons is another Etsy seller that offers TONS of different handmade treats for dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. They even offer a Treat of the Month Club subscription option!!
Mootug Dog Toy (Yellow) | $14.00
Well this is probably the most unique dog toy I’ve encountered so far! Mootugs are created using a recycled rubber milking tube… as in, cow’s milk. Apparently dairy farms discard these tubes every few weeks and Mootugs upcycles them into ingenius dog toys that smell like cows and are durable enough for a good tug-of-war! Beijing was interested in making out with the Mootug, but is not much of a tugger, SO once again, this will be going to mom. Jed and Rocket will put this to GREAT use! Border collies know how to have fun!
Mootugs is a Minnesota-based company that sells their dog toys on Etsy (triple yay!) and ships worldwide! They also donate a portion of their sales to help dogs in need. Do you have the warm and fuzzies yet? I do!
Ha! Well then… Beijing, um… well, she really does “has toots in her butt.” Thank goodness dogs can’t read, so I can unabashedly put this on her blue and green collar without her none the wiser. He he! The tag is made with recycled aluminum and a special coating. The graphics and colors are permanently fused to the tag and will not rub off or fade. There is a silicone ring around the tag that glows in the dark too!
BadTags is another Etsy seller (waahooo!) that creates custom-made pet tags in the USA. All of the tags available on their site are cheeky and fun; some are even a bit vulgar, but in a comedic way! You should check out their shop and grab a few giggles!
My Thoughts
The inaugural Deluxe DogPeopleBox was great! I loved all of the items and am so glad that Beijing and I are able to share the bounty with mom and her border collies! I really appreciate when subscription boxes curate items from small businesses and was happy to see so many Etsy sellers included in DogPeopleBox. I am looking forward to seeing the company grow and evolve and am so happy to have received the first box!

Awww these items are adorable and some are really fun and funny too. We love sending surprises to our Granddoggy across the country. My husband and I are ALL ANIMALS people!!
