I am so excited to receive the August Crazy CatLadyBox! This month’s theme is divine and I couldn’t wait to see what Dorian curated. I have loved watching CatLadyBox grow from the start and I am constantly blown away with the high quality items I receive. Cat ladies rejoice! This fancy box is for MEW!

Holly Golightly’s love of Cat is so endearing and pure. There’s no denying that Holly loves Cat, despite her denial of any co-dependence between them… and the story’s end scene is heart-wrenchingly adorable. Love it. This print is definitely a favorite for sure!
Absolutely Meowvelous Shirt | $24.99 *CatLadyBox Exclusive!
CatLadyBox shirts are always soft, printed in a local Florida shop, and fit SO well! Since I hoarded three CatLadyBox shirts to myself, I graciously gave this one to mom to wear with cat lady pride!
Here’s a close-up of the design. The font is so art deco and the screenprint is slightly metallic. Is it bad that when I first saw it, I thought of Absolutely Fabulous??

Glamour Puss Sunglasses | $29.99 *CatLadyBox Exclusive!
I LOVE these cat-eye sunglasses! There is a slight fade to the lenses too, making them darker at the top. The glasses came in a very sturdy black case and included a hot pink cleaning cloth, and a classic black gift box! They arrived without a single scratch. My favorite part is the CatLadyBox logo on both sides! I love, love, LOVE these so much! Makes me wish I had contact lenses so I could wear these! Perhaps it’s a sign to get to the optometrist…
Spectra Fabulous Scarf | $22.99 *CatLadyBox Exclusive!
I am really loving the high quality packaging this month. The scarf arrived perfectly folded in a lovely “Tiffany-blue” gift box.
Here it is in all its glory!! This is a square scarf that was designed by Asra Rae. (Same artist who designed the March CatLadyBox umbrella – see it here!) This psychadelic kitty is adorned with an adorable bejeweled tiara! This scarf is totally Glamour Puss!!! Mom claimed this scarf as soon as I showed it to her… yup, I’m pretty much the best daughter ever. 😀
My cats LOVE Loopies toys and were ri-donk-ulously excited to get two of them in the August 2016 Crazy CatLadyBox. Both designs are amazing!

My girl Rambo was infatuated with the cat toys and hogged the spotlight through our photo shoot. She couldn’t even wait to let me get the tags off the sunglasses!

Meowlympic Torch Catnip Toy | $4.99 *CatLadyBox Limited Edition!
FEATHERS!!! All six cats love feather toys. It was unbelievably hard to get action shots though, as they kept fighting each other to get to the Meowlympic Torch!
Cooper is looking at Rambo like he’s about to lunge… Rambo is SUCH a toy hog!
Cooper completely wrecked my backdrop when he was playing with his new toy! You can see it wrinkled behind him… oh lordy. My cats are such a mess!

My Thoughts
The August 2016 Crazy CatLadyBox was out-of-this-world GOOD! I was so distracted by my cats playing with their new toys, I failed to take a picture of everything together! My personal favorite item has to be the sunglasses and I am very seriously considering getting contact lenses in order to wear them out and about!
Mom is currently traveling west with my dad to check out some amazing national parks for the next few months (speaking of which, HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY TO THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE!!!) and she is already flaunting her crazy cat lady style with her new shirt and scarf!
My cats went wild over their glamour puss cat toys and we have since completely lost the meowlympic torch. I am unsure which cat stashed it away from the others, but nobody can find it now. (I’m putting my money on Little G finding it this weekend.)

I’ve gotta be speedy here– my laptop is almost literally shooting flames at me, in between crashing and freezing. And, I think that your form resets at 11pm EST.
I love that this box supports rescue orgs, and supports indie artists and local businesses. I do wish there were more items in each box.
Now, were I not a blonde, I would be very politely asking you delightful Chics if you happen to not want that terribly, terribly ghastly Hepburn-esque print. I mean, a GINGER cat? The only acceptable ginger cat is my INCREDIBLE lil’ cat, Sam. (See my IG feed for photographic, not-to-be-disputed proof.)
I can’t afford this box, but I want it. Grrr. Grrr; sigh. Some day.

Ahh. There’s so many wonderful things I’d love off of the site. I’ve heard a lot about this box and I love seeing what everyone receives. It looks like all your kitties definitely loved the feather toy that you received. The one thing that I’d really like to try is Vegan-Friendly “Purring Buddha” Soap. I’m partial to trying soaps. 😀

Love it. Sorry I missed it August was going to be my first crazy cat lady box. These boxes are to cute and very well put together. Well worth the money. Hopefully I will get to get my first box soon.
