So there I was, once again, perusing Instagram for new products and boxes that are begging me to try them. I discovered Revel Box while scrolling through the #subscriptionbox feed (pretty much my favorite hashtag ever) and instantly fell in love with the sweet, personalized feel of the boxes. I tried to grab a March “Spring” box, but was (way) too late to the party and missed the cutoff!

Agi (bengal kitty) and I were so impressed by the presentation! First, this box was wrapped in the cutest dotted craft paper and was adorned with stickers and stamps. I almost forgot to take pictures because I wanted to open it up immediately!

Let’s look at this box, for real. Deanna got super crafty with her Spring Cleaning boxes! This is a CUTE printed doodle page that was then hand-colored. It reminds me of when my best friend and I used to give each other random handmade gifts in high school just to say, “I am thinking of you.” I love the personality and care put into the box.

Okay this is the last picture with a cat. I was scooting around trying to keep the kitties away the entire time I was taking photos. My entire cat posse REALLY liked my Revel Box…

The back of the lid was stamped with the logo and I appreciated the simple, clean presentation inside with the white tissue paper and one strip of red washi tape holding it together.

First peek and I LOVE this plastic-y stuffing stuff. It’s really pretty and I am obsessed despite it having nothing to do with the actual box contents. Everything came wrapped with extreme care and nothing was damaged during shipping, despite it traveling across the country to get to me!

I found an adorable little info sheet that listed all of the possible items I could find inside my Spring Cleaning Revel Box! I was crossing my fingers for anything from the March Spring box!

Pea Pickle Farm Beeswax Candle (Beehive) – Value:  $2.75

This smells amazing; I love the smell of honey and beeswax. The candle measures about 2″x2″ and is made purely of natural beeswax with a cotton wick.

Pea Pickle Farm uses only cappings wax, which is the wax beekeepers must remove from the honeycomb to harvest the honey. All wax is purchased directly from beekeepers and is then hand-poured at the kitchen table. *LOVE THIS*

Pea Pickle Farm provided a little info sheet on candle burning so we don’t kill ourselves or burn our house down. 🙂  MUCH appreciated!

Lila Ruby King Weather Mini Notecards (Set of 10) – Value:  $5.00

These cute notecards come all the way from Greece and are the perfect size for gift tags, reminders, happy hubby notes, and more! If Little G were older and could read, I’d totally put one in his lunch box every day for two weeks with inspirational quotes.

There are ten different prints on the cards. I can’t even tell you which one is my favorite. It’s difficult for me to part with unique, handmade items even though these are meant to be used and given! Maybe I will gift the set to someone else and make it their responsibility to distribute them. Way to pass the buck…

Christine Witte Scandinavian Folk Flower Stickers (Set of 24) – Value:  $2.50

I am in LOVE with these stickers! Christine Witte is a German artist whose love of surface design (repeat patterns) emerged from a passion for art, markers, and bold creativity. Her Scandinavian designs are whimsical and filled with beautiful muted colors. I am officially obsessed with her Etsy store. You will be too once you check it out HERE!

JD Wolfe Small Cloud Plate – Value:  $18.00

Measuring at 2.5″x3″, this is the cutest little plate I have ever seen! I am blown away by the craftsmanship in this piece. The creamy white glaze covers the stoneware clay perfectly and I love the gentle curved-in edges.

Here is the bottom of the plate. The whole piece is simply gorgeous and makes me wish I had more of them! I am unsure where this will ultimately end up, but it will be highly coveted and protected from all kitties and toddlers lurking around.

Revel Box Tillandsia Cork Magnet – Value:  $8.00

I couldn’t believe I received a live air plant all the way from Sacramento, CA! He was a really bright green cutie too. My mom kind of murdered the air plant I gave her several months ago somehow. Air plants are supposed to be the simplest plants to keep alive and yet here we are, two (outdoor) gardeners, completely intimidated by these little guys.

I was determined to get this guy perked up and quickly mounted in bright, indirect sunlight… but first, I had to take a quick snapshot of him with my new cloud plate.

Revel Box also provided very thorough, easy-to-digest instructions on caring for air plants!

I think he looked great on our fridge! He got a nice soak in some non-chlorinated water before being attached to the refrigerator. Unfortunately, my mischievous kitties discovered him up there one night and somehow managed to knock my plant down and chew him up all night. 🙁 I brought my little plant in to work the next day to hopefully revive him. Sometimes my cats drive me bonkers! Poor plant… Deanna said she will help me get another Tillandsia soon. Now that’s what I call first-class customer service!

Revel Box Wildflower Mix – Value:  $4.00?

I love this handmade seed packet, like, oh SO much. You can tell the actual packet was individually printed, cut, and bound together. It even has my name on the front! I feel so special!

This is really great timing because I just turned my desolate wasteland of a front yard back into a flower and herb garden. I have a sunny corner of my flower bed near my raised bed where I like to throw wildflower seeds to attract beneficial bees and bugs. I’ll plant these seeds this weekend! 🙂

I did not calculate any shipping costs that Revel Box incurred by sourcing amazing handmade products from across the world. I received beautiful gifts from Greece, Germany, California, Michigan, and Wisconsin and only paid $39.00 which included shipping my box across the country from CA to NC. After all of that, I still received a box valued higher than what I paid!

This is easily the most “me” subscription box I have received this year and I just adore everything about it. Though I was initially bummed that I missed out on the March Spring Box, I am so glad I was able to pick up one of the Spring Cleaning boxes!! This month I am celebrating my 30th birthday and feel like I already received an early birthday gift! I am head over heels for Revel Box!
